Privacy Policy — Gravitas: Cosmic Devour
Last updated: 22 September 2026
Gravitas: Cosmic Devour ("the game") is developed and published by Radostin Dimitrov ("we"). This policy explains what information the game handles and why.
What the game collects
The game itself collects no personal information and contains no analytics, advertising or tracking code.
Level progress, survival scores and your settings are stored in a file on your device. Nothing in that file identifies you.
Google Play Games Services
On Android, the game offers sign-in with Google Play Games Services, operated by Google. If you sign in:
- Google provides the game with your Play Games player ID and display name so the game can show that you are signed in.
- Your survival scores are submitted to a Play Games leaderboard, where they are visible to other players under your Play Games profile.
- Your level progress and survival bests are saved to your Play Games cloud save slot so they can be restored on another device. Settings are not uploaded.
This data is processed by Google under the Google Privacy Policy. You can play without signing in; the game works fully offline.
Multiplayer (GD-Sync)
Online multiplayer rooms are relayed by GD-Sync, a third-party service. When you host or join an online room:
- Your device connects to GD-Sync's servers to list, create and join rooms, and to exchange live match data (body positions, ejects, absorbs) with the other players in your room.
- Your device also sends GD-Sync a device identifier (Android's per-app instance ID, or an equivalent on Windows) when it connects, so GD-Sync can validate the game's API key. This identifier is not linked to your name, email or Play Games profile.
- The room number, room name, password and speed are whatever the host chose; none of it is tied to your identity, and the game never sends GD-Sync your name, email or Play Games profile.
- Per GD-Sync's own policy, they do not collect players' IP addresses, and process only the minimum data needed to run the room. We do not use any of GD-Sync's optional player-account or cloud-storage features.
- Local Wi-Fi ("LAN") multiplayer does not use GD-Sync at all — devices find each other directly on the network.
This data is processed by GD-Sync under their privacy policy.
Data sharing
We do not sell, share or transfer any data to third parties beyond what Google Play Games and GD-Sync need to provide sign-in and online multiplayer, as described above. We do not run our own servers and never receive your data.
Deleting your data
- Local data: uninstall the game, or clear its storage in Android settings.
- Play Games data (leaderboard entries, cloud save): delete the game's data from your Play Games profile (Play Games app → Settings → Delete Play Games account & data), or contact us at the address below.
Permissions
- Internet — Play Games sign-in, leaderboards and cloud saves; online multiplayer rooms via GD-Sync.
- Vibrate — haptic feedback on absorb, tier change and death (can be switched off in Settings).
Children
The game is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at the same address with an updated date.
